Wholesale Drop Shipping — The Key To Working From Home

April 10th, 2010 No comments

If you think you need to put a second mortgage on your house, get a great big loan from the bank, or save for years to start your own online retail business, think again. By utilizing wholesale drop shipping, you can get your dream business started for less than it costs to by a Wii.

What is it? Wholesale drop shipping is a way to provide products to your potential customers without having to buy them first. Yes, that’s right. You don’t have to invest in hordes of purchased products, clean out your garage or rent a place to store them, and wonder how you’re going to pay for all the packaging, shipping, and handling fees up front.

A wholesale drop shipper has access to hundred, thousands, even millions of products that you can access, too. When your customers place an order, all you have to do is relay the information to your drop ship company.

Your drop shipper processes your customer’s order by sending their information to the manufacturer or warehouse that supplies the product. The wholesale supplier packages and ships the product to your customer.

Yes, it sounds like a lot of steps, but it’s all very smooth and quick because the drop shipper and the wholesaler have the system down. But, best of all, your customer has already paid for the product they want, so nothing comes out of your pocket.

What will come out of your pocket is the cost of putting up a Web site with a domain name and a server (where your site is stored). With places like GoDaddy, Microsoft Office Live, and Yahoo! Domains, this can be easily done for less than $20 a year!

You’ll also likely need to pay for membership rights with the wholesale drop shipper that best suits your product needs. This could cost anywhere from $20 a month to several hundred depending on the drop ship company you use. But, some of these companies offer Web site set up along with their access.

Any way you look at it, using a wholesale drop shipper will cost thousands less than funding the whole shebang yourself. And you’ll enjoy the profits because all you’ll have to worry about is marketing your store!

The Drop Shipper: A Mysterious Masked Man?

April 8th, 2010 No comments

The mysterious drop shipper has left tracks all over the nation. He may have even dropped by your house last Christmas. Perhaps you remember how you found the perfect gift for your spouse, but how you live in California and the company that you ordered from was in Massachusetts and you wondered if it would come in time. Then just a few days later, the package showed up at your house with a return address of Arizona and you wondered just a little what had happened.

After your first encounter with the masked drop shipper, you started looking more closely into online retail and wondering just what it would take for you to become a business owner. Along the way, you started to see behind the mask of the drop shipper. You realized that with him along for the ride, making some money through online retail could be a lot easier than you had ever imagined.

You quickly noticed that drop shippers really do the hard work and that they make running a business much more efficient. As you take in the orders for your products, you just pass them along to the drop shipper and then let him pack up and ship off each piece of merchandise to its new owner.

Wow, you thought, and wondered why everyone wasn’t jumping at the chance to use drop shipping to begin his or her own business. As far as you could tell, drop shipping had many advantages and only a few disadvantages.

First of all, drop shipping meant that you didn’t have to worry a bit about your inventory. This was a definite plus since the garage was already filled to capacity and you definitely didn’t have room to store boxes of bulk orders of merchandise for your store. Since the drop shipper would fill and ship each order, all you needed were a few samples of inventory and some photographs from the catalogs the drop shippers provided to design your own advertising and webpage.

The second huge plus to drop shipping had to do with the nitty-gritty of the financial side. Typically, a retail business requires you to have enough capital to buy your initial merchandise and begin marketing. With drop shipping, the initial start-up costs are minimal. You begin by advertising, a customer orders and pays for a product, you forward the order to the drop shipper along with the payment for the product and shipping. This leaves you with cash in your pocket, or in other words, positive cash flow!

You found even more pros and cons as you researched drop shipping. Pro: the product is shipped from the location closest to the customer. Con: you don’t have as much control over your inventory. Pro: you save time and money by not shipping products. Con: a product might back-order if you don’t keep track of the drop shipper’s current stock. Pro: you have endless options of products that you can try out, but you never have to buy any of them up front.

In time, the drop shipper really did become your loyal sidekick because despite his few weaknesses, he was there to make your business adventure possible.

If Life Gives You Lemons, Try Drop Shipping

April 4th, 2010 No comments

This is a story about a little girl named Becky who dreamed about making her own money. One day she decided that she would open a lemonade stand, charging enough per glass to make a significant profit. However, she didn’t have the capital to buy the initial lemonade and cups and so she asked her mother for some help starting her business. Her mother promptly refused to help her and reminded her that she didn’t want her sitting by the street. Becky’s disappointment gradually led her to give up her dream of being a business owner.

When Becky was a bit older, she stumbled into a gold mine called drop ship. With drop shipping, she realized she could start her own business without asking her mother for help and without sitting on the street corner talking to strangers! Becky modified her original idea of lemonade and began her own store selling lemon-themed products and accessories, thus fulfilling her life-long dream.

With drop ship, it doesn’t take long for you to become a business owner too. Like Becky, you may have a passion for all things lemon, or perhaps your tastes run to pets, books, computers, or more. No matter the market you are interested in, wholesale drop shippers give you the tools to build the business you want.

Let’s start by going over what drop ship is.

Typical retail stores order merchandise from a wholesale provider, maintain an inventory, and sell from that inventory to the public. Drop shipping is a process in which the wholesale provider ships merchandise directly to a customer, thereby eliminating the middle step in which the merchandise physically passes through your business.

There are clearly many advantages to drop ship. If you have felt stifled in your ability to increase the number and variety of products that you sell, drop shipping is the answer to your concern. Perhaps you’ve had the experience where the cost of ordering an item in bulk for which there was little or infrequent demand kept you from meeting that demand. Drop shipping gives you access to those products without having to store them yourself! Suddenly, the options of what to market are endless!

Another significant advantage of drop shipping is the positive cash flow associated with it. While Becky’s lemonade stand would have needed funding from her mother, her online store didn’t. As customer’s place orders online and pay for products, that same money can be used to offset the costs of the very products they are buying. As in all retail businesses, you make your money in the difference between what the customer pays for the product and what you pay the wholesale retailer.

How does making some money on the side while letting someone else do the work sound to you? If it sounds pretty good, then let drop shipping make that a reality and start thinking today about what business will meet the demand that you see!

How To Choose A Drop Ship Company

February 20th, 2010 No comments

When you’re considering opening your own online retail business, you have many options available to you. You can choose to warehouse the products you want to sell yourself, choose to use drop ship companies for your products, or use a combination of both.

Drop ship companies can save you time with acquiring products, and money that you don’t have to spend on purchasing those products. However, not all drop ship companies have the same terms or product availability.

Each drop ship company you consider will have different terms and conditions. You will expect to pay a certain amount of money to become a member, but you don’t want to lose that money based on the performance of your Web store.

How many resources or tools are available to you as an online retailer? Some drop ship companies only have products and that’s it. But, some provide excellent resources to help your business succeed, e.g., retail solutions and tactics, reports and product watches, quality images and full descriptions, a variety of suppliers to choose from, and cost projection tips so you understand what the bottom line will be.

A good drop ship company is going to want your Web store to succeed. Compare the educational resources each company offers. Will they give you tools and tips to create and build a successful online retail store? Do they have product reports that give you the low-down on each product?

Are the images and products descriptions made with high quality resolutions and content? Will they copy onto your site effectively of will you have to do a lot of doctoring? Do they have a variety of product choices for you or just some? Are their suppliers varied and diverse, or are there only a few?

And for the big consideration, what is membership going to cost you and what’s the fine print on the terms and conditions? How much is it going to cost for shipping, handling, and how long will your customers have to wait for delivery?

When you take all of these factors together, you can determine which drop shipping company is going to be the best fit for your Web store aspirations, and which one is going to help you produce the most profit.

Exploring New Drop Ship Markets

February 12th, 2010 No comments

Using a drop ship company can help you explore many options for you Web store. Whether you already have a Web store, have a product to sell, and/or want to open one, you can expand your product line, add to your own products, or choose products to get your store started.

By using a drop ship company, you can do one of three things. Find products similar to your own to sell. Expand your product lines with products that are complementary. Explore completely new avenues and diversify your store. Each or all of these things are possible by utilizing drop ship options into your business.

Let’s use an example. You’ve developed a nifty new kind of candle. They may revolutionize the way candles burn. The problem is that you aren’t getting a lot of new buyers, because not everyone is looking for candles. A drop ship company can offer other products that people are looking for and attract new buyers to your groovy candles.

You can add more candles and give your customers more than one kind of candle to choose from. Yes, this will compete with your own product. However, offering more choices that your drop shipper has available can give your customers more incentive to browse and try several kinds, including your own.

The second option you have with drop shipping is offering related products to your excellent candles. Adding drop ship candle, potpourri, or natural lamp accessories allows more variety in the search process. If customers are looking for a candleholder, they get to see your candles, too. You even have the option of offering combinations of things, including your product.

If you want to go beyond candles, you can safely expand the products to sell without the high cost of purchasing them. You can test new products in your Web store and decide which ones to keep and which ones are failing to sell. With expansion, you also have the ability to go in all kinds of directions attracting more visitors and possibly increasing your candle sales.

By using a drop ship company, you have all kinds of avenues to explore. You can remain a focused company, or become a diversified retail source. If you’re just starting out, or want to expand your existing product line, you can explore your options with a drop ship company.

By using drop ship capabilities, you can explore new markets or expand your business without the risks of product investment. Drop shipping is a terrific way to explore.

Utilizing Drop Shipping For Your Online Store

February 5th, 2010 No comments

If you want to have your own online retail store and have done some research, you’ve likely run across the option for drop shipping. If you still don’t understand what drop shipping can do, here are some items to ponder.

Drop shipping is simply selling the products you want that your chosen drop ship company has in their inventory. You get to advertise the products you want in your Web store. When you make a sale, you pass on the specifics to your drop shipper and they pull your product from their inventory and ship it to your customer.

Now, you’re asking yourself what the catch is. Essentially, there isn’t one. You just have to decide whether it will be more profitable for you to stock and ship your own stuff, or let a drop shipper do that for you.

On one hand, you will have to pay to for the drop shipping services. And using a drop shipper will mean they have control over what inventory is in stock. If your customer buys a set of shoelaces, but your drop ship company doesn’t have them in stock, then your customer will have to wait for the item to come in.

You’ll also have to pay handling fees for the products they ship for you, and you’ll have to rely on the drop shipper to fulfill your orders with their own shipping and delivery methods. But, many drop shippers have custom delivery options that you can use to represent your company.

Comparing drop shipping costs and inventory unknowns to the time and money you will save is the big consideration. You don’t have to take pictures and write product descriptions, you can use your drop shippers. You don’t have to store or manage your own inventory and packaging materials. You don’t have to sink your investments into product acquisition. And you don’t have to arrange all the delivery details.

You may see how drop shipping can save you considerable time and money. By not having to write descriptions, take product images, sink money into inventory that just collects dust, pay monthly rental fees on storage and office space, and sink more money into packaging materials and delivery fees, you can keep your overhead to a minimum.

Just figure out which method is going to be best for you. Which one is going to result in a more profitable business? Calculate the cost of doing things yourself against using a drop shipping company. Then make it happen.

Wholesale Dropship Suppliers and Resellers

February 4th, 2010 No comments

When using a wholesale dropship supplier you can stock your online store with a variety of products without having to carry an inventory. Dropshipping is gaining popularity as a source to supplement an help existing online stores or small businesses.

There exists hundreds of dropship suppliers online and choosing the right one can be hard. Some may claim to be wholesale dropshippers but are not. If they come recommended and deliver an excellent service at reasonable cost that can make you profitable then it is worth further investigation.

A wholesale dropship company could have bargains or closeouts at or below wholesale but you need to understand that a dropship company ads fees for storing, shipping and handling of inventory. A manufacturer who sells wholesale will usually want a tax ID to verify that you are reselling products at retail prices.

A dropship supplier when an order is placed sends the product for you to the purchaser. It can be arranged to have your address and business label on the package. This makes it look like it was shipped directly from your company or warehouse. They can often take care or and process returns for you.

Visit related forums and user groups when researching wholesale dropship suppliers. Try testing the supplier if you can have a friend make a test purchase on your behalf.

It is best to avoid old outdated wholesale dropshipping supplier lists because most of the info on them is useless and it is not worth you time chasing down the correct information. Concentrate on finding a wholesale dropship directory that has thousands of products that may consist of music CD, DVD’s, dress shoes, suits, electronics, plasma TV’s or just about anything you would expect to find online including closeout items at the lowest prices around.

When making money online with a website or selling on internet auctions take into account using a dropship supplier or wholesale dropship directory to find the lowest prices and reliable dropshippers. Your better dropship directories may implement a rating systems on both products and suppliers. It pays to do your research because your livelihood depends on it.

Nicheblueprint 2.0 – The Best Ecommerce Product Has Returned!

January 12th, 2010 No comments

Ever since Tim Godfrey’s and Steven Clayton’s very successful course on web e-commerce named niche blueprint went off the market people have been wondering when it would finally be available once more. At last the wait is finally over as on the 11th of January niche blueprint 2.0 will be launched.

From the 4th of January niche blueprint 2.0 will be officially in prelaunch. The public will be able to see a video on this date that will reveal proof that the niche blueprint 2.0 system really does work.

Also explained in this video is the reason why this business model is not difficult to implement and does not even require a vast knowledge of the Internet and or marketing in general.

Having said that Steven Clayton and Tim Godfrey do make it clear that this is a business that will require at least some work, if it did not it would not be a real business after all.

The first time that the niche blueprint course was launched, in January last year, they sold 5000 copies in the first 36 hours and I’m sure it will happen again this year too with niche blueprint 2.0, especially with the economy as it is and many people looking for other sources of income.

I think the main reasons that niche blueprint and niche blueprint 2.0 was and will be so popular (just like there other course commission blueprint) is not just that it is the best course of its kind out there or that the support Steve Clayton gives in their forum is without parallel.

Although I do believe all this is true I still think the main reason lays in the fact that it is extremely easy for someone new to Internet marketing to follow the niche blueprint system and become profitable. Especially as you don’t need to have any of these:

- Your very own product

- Any joint-venture partners or affiliates

- A mailing list

- Any extra investment above your hosting and domain name

- Any technical or internet marketing experience

They even created a number of services so that when you buy the niche blueprint 2.0 e-commerce course you have nothing else to buy except for your web hosting and domain name.

Niche blueprint 2.0 has had a huge number of improvements and additions over the old course with some incredible pieces of unique software including website building, SEO, keyword and micro niche tools for research which probably are worth many times the price of the course itself.

While the all-new niche blueprint 2.0 course is going through its first launch week the price is going to drop by a massive 40% off of what the original niche blueprint course cost. This price reduction will only be available until the 18th when the price will go back to what it has traditionally been.

Since last time niche blueprint was launched it sold out in as little as 36 hours, if you are truly interested in what you could do with this course I suggest you don’t wait around come the 11th before purchasing.

Niche Blueprint is one great course! We will be offering a Niche Blueprint 2.0 Bonus on our blog.

Niche Blueprint 2 Sections One to Two – Is the Content Any Good?

January 12th, 2010 No comments

In this article we are going to look at modules one and two, which is week 1 of Tim Godfrey and Steve Clayton’s Niche Blueprint 2 E-Commerce Training Course.

As is quite normal with these courses module one is mostly an introduction. Contained within this module are introductions to all of the modules that follow as well as information on what you should expect plus what you should have done at the end of each and every module.

Three individual PDF’s with goal sheets and QuickStart flowcharts plus an overview can be found in module one. There is also a video where the program is explained to you, how the program will work, how you will receive the content and ultimately how you will actually go about making money with your niche blueprint 2.0 stores are the main things covered in this video.

In module to niche selection is the focus. You will be shown how to come up with ideas for different stores and how you should conduct research. The goal of this module is to get you your first idea from which you can build that first store.

This module includes 4 PDF’s for brainstorming resources, its goal sheet and market research process chart. There are also three videos in this module which provide all the information necessary to research different markets and come up with your store ideas and their suitability for E commerce.

Steve Clayton guides you throughout these modules with great skill and very precise step-by-step instructions making them very easy to follow.

For the newcomer to e-commerce, this clarity will make it very easy to be successful very quickly.

What I particularly love about this module is that Steve not only explains things very clearly and simply but also includes the tools necessary to do the job. As they also include a branded copy of the keyword research tool market samurai.

Currently market Samurai happens to be the tool I use most for market research. Both I and my colleague use this tool heavily, in fact I’m using it now in the background even as I write this article.

In fact in two of the videos within module two Steve Clayton provides you with an exact mythology for using market Samurai to obtain your target keywords.

He not only tells you the criteria to use in these videos, he actually shows you with an on-screen demonstration of finding those niche keywords, using his own search criteria within market Samurai. You see on screen as Steve finds very profitable niche keyword ideas on the fly.

I have no doubt that pretty much anyone who watches these videos will learn how to come up with highly profitable niches they can build web e-commerce stores around.

Check out our blog to find the remaining course overviews and a NicheBlueprint 2 Bonus chosen by us. You can also come across info about Web E-Commerce from our site.

The Brand New Niche Blueprint 2 Reviewed

January 11th, 2010 No comments

Niche blueprint 2.0, the successor to the very popular niche blueprint web e-commerce course, has had an improved interface which makes it easier for the user to navigate and use. On top of this some videos have been redone so as to make them clearer to follow.

Naturally though since the niche blueprint method has worked so well for so many it has not been radically changed in this new version of the course.

But the main change in niche blueprint 2.0 is the addition of some extremely interesting software that should make it even easier to begin making money.

Web e-commerce market research

For e-commerce market research E-commerce Niche Finder has been created. It is designed to examine millions of possible e-commerce markets and automatically tell you which are good candidates for e-commerce stores.

Keyword Research for SEO

Here Tim and Steven have had created a tool they have called keyword blueprint. Keyword blueprint is a very powerful piece of software that will find all of your commercial, low competition and high traffic keyword phrases which you can then use to obtain free traffic from search engines.

Now some of you may already have tools like the very powerful market Samurai and so may be wondering just how useful these new tools would be to you.

Well as far as I can see so far they are specially optimized according to Stephen Clayton’s specific methodology especially for e-commerce websites which of course makes them very simple, fast and easy to get the right results first time especially for somebody who is new to e-commerce.

Building and configuring web e-commerce stores

With niche blueprint 2.0 installing your web e-commerce stores has been dramatically made easier with the addition of some new software that makes installing your store just a question of pressing a few buttons.

They have also added a whole load of new web e-commerce highly converting store templates which means that anyone can quickly and easily get a great looking professional high converting web e-commerce store up and running in no time.

Locating great products

The old niche blueprint came with a service called dropship blueprint. It was basically a database of suppliers of products with their contact details. Now with the all improve version thousands more suppliers have been added and the interface has been improved dramatically.

Traffic generation through seo

This section of the course has seen some massive new cool software editions. For instance there is article blueprint that has been made to take an article and spin it out to a network of high page rank websites.

Authority hub is yet another cool piece of software included in niche blueprint 2.0. In essence this software will go out on the web and locate authority websites where you can get some links back to your site for improved rankings in the search engines.

And the last of these tools is Link Blueprint which is a 3-way link network. This gives you another way of getting links to your site.

Link blueprint is something I have been making use of for a while now and the truth is it can be very effective. There are other services like this one available on the market that cost upwards of $47 a month, however with niche blueprint 2.0 link blueprint is included for life!

The value of the niche blueprint course was always very high, however with all of the new software tools it is simply incredible value especially now that Tim and Steven have said that the course will be sold with a 40% discount off the original price during the first week of its launch.

See this here to look at a full Niche Blueprint 2.0 Review. Discover the truth about NB2!
