The one typical area where a lot of folks drop the ball is acquiring a good working knowledge of how to correctly implement the knowledge of a particular monetization method. This is why it’s important to study various money making ways that you can add to your site before jumping onto any conclusions. Once you are sure that your target audience will be comfortable with a certain method, then go for it. What follows next are several monetization methods that have long since shown to be viable and profitable.

You can always locate relevant and valuable information, often niche specific, at places such as forums and social media/networking websites. Forums are fairly easy to monetize, and they can bring in a lot of targeted traffic, as well. The reason such a private forum works in between all those free forums is because of the quality of content offered. The atmosphere will be different because it’s a pay-for inclusion forum, and the content will be of a much higher quality as a result.

Affiliate marketing is another highly popular way to make money through your website. Effective affiliate monetization methods include optins for email marketing, adding banners, links, video and other means to your website. You’ll earn commissions for each product or service you sell. If you’re a complete beginner to online marketing, just know that this is a method that “can” be hugely profitable to you. It’s not hard to go into any of the major IM forums and find people who do this full-time and make great income. It’s easy to search on the web and find tons of websites and all they’re doing is promoting affiliate products.

If you like audio, there are audio advertisements such as Pay Per Play which will play about a five second audio clip (ad) the first time a visitor goes to your site. It never hurts to be open about trying/testing new forms of advertising or monetization, and that’s the story with this one because it is new to IM CPA Renegade.

While not all monetization methods will work for all sites; you can use these tips if you’re site is receiving some traffic. Of course, as well always tell people, the only way to find out what will work best is to test often. The really great thing about testing anything is that once you find out what is effective, then with something like monetization it’s frequently possible to roll it out into other sites.

More Amusing Than A Drunk Monkey

My mom is a unique lady.

My mom is tons of fun. My mom’s carefree attitude has made her a favorite amongst my friends. In fact, my friends like my mom so much that frequently they come over to my house to hang out with her just as much as they come over to hang out with me! My mom throws better parties than anyone in my class!

My mother threw a tremendous birthday party for my friend Monkey.

My friends love to reminisce about one party in specific that my mom threw which stands out above all the rest. The party was a surprise for my friend Michael who when we were young I nicknamed Monkey due to his amazing tree-climbing power. My mom and Monkey are really close because he’s been my friend since we were babies. For Monkey’s 10th birthday, my mom took a group of our friends to the city zoo for an afternoon of fun. Unbeknownst to myself or anyone else, my mom arranged for the zoo officials to set up a party for Monkey right outside the monkey exhibit! My mom goes all out with decorations. The zoo officials decorated the monkey exhibit with noise makers, balloons, hats and streamers!

There were customized banners everywhere at the zoo.

Upon our arrival at the zoo, we immediately noticed oddly placed custom banners with directions pointing to the primate exhibit. At first, we thought these banners were nothing more than directional banners, but as we started noticing them more and more our curiosity got the better of us and we followed the vinyl banners to the monkey exhibit. When we arrived at the monkey exhibit we felt like we were walking into the pages of a book. The exhibit was closed off to the other people at the zoo, and throughout the area there were monkeys roaming free. For decoration, there were yellow streamers stretching from the banana tree in the center of the room out across to the wall that lined the exhibit. The monkeys were climbing in and out of empty barrels and eating from bushels of bananas that were placed throughout the exhibit. It was truly incredible!

Look at that big empty wall over there!

Once in the area, my mom had us gather around an empty wall on the far side of the room. To our amazement, out of nowhere a giant vinyl banner unraveled and covered the empty wall. The custom banner said “Happy Birthday Monkey!” The custom banner was the biggest I had seen that day! The other banners I saw outside the monkey exhibit now made sense, as they matched the giant happy birthday custom banner.

Monkey’s surprise 10th birthday party was one I will never forget!

Monkey was grinning from ear to ear. My mom brought a box that Monkey now uses to store his giant custom banner. That banana shaped custom vinyl banner is a great reminder of the fun day we had at the zoo and is a perfect example of my mom’s creativity!

The Evolution Of Advertising

June 18th, 2010 No comments

Advertisement, broadly known, is a form of communication which, on the one hand, promotes the sale of a product or service and, on the other hand, conveys the massage that an institution, organization or candidate for political office want to send out. To better understand how ads reached the position, recognition and power that they have nowadays, let’s look back, four centuries ago, when this concept first emerged.

The very first ads represented short descriptions of products in rather long sentences, colorless, with no illustrations included. Later on, in the 19th century, advertising became a real industry. Ads are also extremely important because they do not only reflect the product it refers to, but also conveys more subtle insights.

As acknowledged nowadays, ads can be described as follows: they are trying to sell a product and it does that by sending subliminal messages to influence the buyers’ course of actions in its favor. To understand how powerful an advertisement can be on the market, we can look at the success stories throughout history. Let’s take for example an ad to a famous brand of cigarettes dated from 1955. At the beginning, this product was meant for women. The brand started as marketing its mildness and aimed a rather small market niche, that is, women smokers. Things have radically changed when an advertising agency introduced the man, a rugged cowboy on horseback smoking a cigarette designed for men that women like. The sales immediately shot up and the once anonymous cigarettes became the world’s best-selling cigarette brand. It was back then when widely-recognized advertising icons first emerged and people’s surroundings changed for good.

By the turn of the 20th century, several advertising agencies had set up business in big cities throughout the world.
In order to understand ads, it’s good to know a little about the social and economical context of the period ads were broad-casted. For example, not many people know that the term consumer was perceived as a feminine gender notion. This was due to the fact the more of consumer purchases were made by women in the early 20th century. That can explain why most key employees of advertising agencies until about 1950 were men.

Nowadays, advertising is one of the most important businesses worldwide. Michael Schudson speaks about how advertising can reconfigure the world, by saying that: Advertising is capitalism’s way of saying I love you to itself.

The unique patented system that Soyang uses revolutionizes the display of the banner material, offering a lightweight easy to use alternative.

Qualities Of Highly Effective Banner

December 25th, 2009 No comments

Advertising is a vital factor, which influences the revenues of a company’s offerings. It not only ensures brand visibility but also influences the consumer’s thinking.

Banner printing is one effective method of advertising and its use to attract public attention is widespread. It has been employed for many years in promotion and is considered to be quite successful. The role of design in making a banner a success with prospective customers should in no way be underestimated, and good printing is a vital factor in ensuring that the intended design does see the light of day.

The process of banner printing demands a strong attention to finer aspects so that it grabs the attention of the public. Any extremities in the dimensions of the banner should always be avoided, as it would create difficulties at a later stage. The message on the banner should be of a reasonable word count and in a letter size that gels well with the layout. A message with a word limit of 5 to 7, with words written in bold and big fonts, is adhered to widely.

Arriving at the perfect colour balance for your banner is something that you can look forward to from a good banner printing company. The background should not outshine the colour of the text, as that might make the message faint and illegible. Loaded words like ‘excellent’, dynamic etc may be used to further enhance the efficacyof the message, and if any illustrations are being used, then they should be accommodated in such a way that they do not distract attention from the main message. They should instead support the overall theme of the banner.

Adhering to the above tips while banner printing will help you develop the ideal banner that meets the company’s advertisement objectives. It is a solid marketing strategy that can help you generate more sales, more sales leads, and more sales referrals for your business.
